Karel Altman's monograph "The Legacy of Czech Tramping. Selected Chapters from the History and Everyday Life of a Peculiar Phenomenon" received the most votes in the Czech Ethnographic Society's poll for the most significant achievement in the field for 2024 and thus won the Czech Ethnographic Society's Award in the publication category. The award ceremony will take place at the 80th International Folklore Festival Strážnice on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 7:30 PM in Strážnice.
