New book

The book has been published that offers an innovative perspective on the Sudetenland region and its heritage. The editors are Olga Nešporová and Jiří Woitsch, and the authors of the individual chapters are members of the Department for Cultural Heritage Research at the Czech Academy of Sciences.

The authors conceptualize heritage as a process, as living and constantly changing medium, as a co-creator of memory and identity. The book is the first comprehensive attempt to apply Critical Heritage Studies (CHS) approaches in the Czech Republic.
