On December 10, 2025, Kateřina Králová was appointed a new member of the Scientific Council of the European Research Council (ERC). She is the only representative from the Czech Republic on this governing body of the ERC. The Scientific Council is composed of eminent scientists and scholars. The members are appointed by the European Commission on the recommendation of an independent Identification Committee.
