Open workshop, Tuesday 11.11. 2025

On the 11^th November, when many events and open discussions on migration will be taking place in different locations as part of a Global Teach-In/Teach-Out on migration as a social good, the MyGRACE project is organizing an open workshop on race and nationalism in a context of migration.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 11.11.2025, during the whole day, with Umut Erel opening the conversation by talking about Gender, Race and Reproducing the Nation at 9:00 (CET) in the conference room (5th floor) of the Institute of Ethnology CAS, Na Florenci 3, Prague 1.

This event is organized as part of the project Migration and Us: Mobilities, Refugees and Borders from the Perspective of the Human Sciences (reg. nr. CZ.02.01.01/00/23_025/0008741), by the working package on Language, Race and Lived Experience of Migration, with the participation of Stephanie Rudwick, May Tamimova, Michal Šípoš, Zdeněk Uherek, Tina Magazzini, Drew Brandon and Františka Schormová.
