International conference November 7.–8. 

We cordially invite you to the international conference Vladimír Karbusický (1925–2002): An Academic at the Crossroads of Disciplines and Ideologies, taking place on 7 and 8 November 2025 at the Musicological Library of the Institute of Art History, Puškinovo náměstí 9, 160 00 Prague.

Organized jointly by the Institute of Art History and the Institute of Ethnology, both of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the conference is open to anyone interested in the work of Czech musicologist and ethnologist Vladimír Karbusický, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year.
