The 45th International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) World Conference 2019 took place from 11th to 17th July 2019 at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Researchers from the department of ethnomusicology of the Institute of Ethnology were also presenting at the konference: Zita Skořepová („Evoking the Old Homeland: Viennese Czechs dance the Beseda Dance“) a Matěj Kratochvíl („Local Research and Global Politics. Ethnomusicological Research of Mining Communities in Former Czechoslovakia“)
