RESEARCH PROFILE
My research has examined the lived experiences of immigration to Czechia both from the perspective of different immigrant groups as well as those who have been born in Czechia, applying the perspective of cultural sociology. My current research looks at the intersection of immigration and racialization processes in Czechia. Moreover, I am involved in a research project Boundaries of solidarity in the Czech civil sphere: The case of Ukrainian migration that explores how solidarity in relation to Ukrainian immigrants is experienced (or not), and how its boundaries are variously maintained, enlarged, blurred, or crossed in the Czech city of Brno.
