14–18 July 2025 in Prague

This year’s Memory Studies Association conference in Prague (14–18 July 2025) gathers 1,400 researchers from around the world. The ERC project Memory and Populism from Below (MEMPOP), hosted by the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, plays an important role in organizing the Memory and Populism thematic track at the conference.

With over 30 panels, this track reflects the growing scholarly interest in the intersection of memory studies and populism research. MEMPOP helps shape this expanding field through its active engagement in organizing and contributing to panels, roundtables, and the broader intellectual agenda of the conference.
